If you haven’t been under a rock and on top of all things technology related (much like myself), you know Twitter has basically a “to-be” viral video that is going to be what some think, a joke but it certainly isn’t as they’re taking the old school mid-70′s-80′s production of “why you should work for this company” approach we all love and tons of videos make fun of (which go viral).
Now, I and maybe 100+ Million people LOVE and use Twitter as if it was just second nature and for some of us… It is! Businesses know Twitter is where they need to be, even more so than Facebook as you don’t always want those businesses Facebook updates in your Timeline and Twitter let’s you put those businesses in a List (to keep them out of your normal feed) or if you’re like me, you allow those constant updates as with Twitter, when a user adds you to the Follow list, usually they went out to specifically find you and really want deals as well as whatever else your company will shell out to its followers.
With that being said, why wouldn’t you want to work for Twitter if you had the skill-set to do so? You’d be nuts not to apply! Which is why I applied for several jobs and as I know I may not be the ideal candidate as I didn’t graduate school or go to a fancy college but they don’t know I was able to quit school cause when I was in High School I was running my own business. Sure I don’t need the job at Twitter but I would be really happy to work at a place I believe in and has so many benefits, not to mention I may have an impact in being able to add my own ideas to an already successful practice that may potentially make Twitter even more popular or useful in a whole new way.
